SOLUTION: After emailing with HitFilm's tech support team the solution to this was to Turn of/untick use Hardware decoding is available ( File > Option > Render ). I'm really hoping I don't have to give up on this video all together, but at this point I don't see any other option - I haven't tried making a video in another program, so I can't tell if t his is a HitFilm exclusive issue or not. How else do I troubleshoot this? I tried to go back to the previous version I had of Hitfilm, but I guess I wasn't logged in when I downloaded it (?) and the only version on my account available to me is the latest.
